Job DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY

The Strategic Growth Manager plays a crucial role in propelling the company's expansion and enhancing its market footprint. This position entails recognizing new business avenues, fostering and sustaining relationships with essential stakeholders, and cultivating strategic alliances. The Strategic Growth Manager will spearhead initiatives aimed at boosting revenue, achieving sales objectives, and promoting innovation within the organization.

In this role, you will lead a sales team that represents our company in various environments, establishing enduring connections with clients and driving revenue enhancement. Your responsibilities will include identifying and nurturing new business prospects while maintaining existing client relationships to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.

Individuals with prior experience in Office Supplies, Janitorial & Sanitation, Office Furniture, or related facility programs are likely to excel in this position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Client Acquisition & Oversight: Actively oversee and engage in prospecting activities to generate leads and broaden the customer base. Interact with potential clients through meetings, presentations, and networking opportunities.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Formulate and execute strategic sales plans to meet and surpass sales targets. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of our products or services and their value to clients.
  • Market Analysis: Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor actions, and market dynamics to provide valuable insights and adjust sales strategies accordingly. Communicate findings and recommendations to the sales leadership team.
  • Relationship Management & Mentorship: Lead efforts to build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients. Understand their specific needs and ensure our solutions align with their business goals.
  • Product Expertise: Cultivate a deep understanding of our products or services among team members to effectively convey their value propositions to potential clients.
  • Reporting & Review: Regularly maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and market feedback. Provide comprehensive reports and analyses to the sales leadership team.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, customer support, and product development, to ensure a seamless customer experience and alignment with company objectives.
  • Client Education: Supervise efforts to effectively communicate the features and benefits of our products or services, equipping clients with the necessary information to make informed decisions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Demonstrated success in field sales or leadership of teams selling key categories: Office Supplies, Janitorial & Sanitation, Office Furniture, and other facility programs.
  • Self-motivated with a high level of initiative, accountability, and urgency.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Adaptable to thrive in a dynamic and evolving sales environment.
  • Valid Driver's License.
