Job Title: Enrollment Services Coordinator

Join our team as an Enrollment Services Coordinator at Pellissippi State Community College, where you will play a vital role in planning, implementing, and executing marketing and recruitment strategies to increase new student enrollment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute effective marketing and recruitment strategies to maximize new student enrollment.
  • Serve as the primary contact for new students, providing guidance and support throughout the enrollment process.
  • Represent Pellissippi State at college and career fairs, business trade shows, and other recruitment events.
  • Collaborate with campus deans to coordinate recruiting, marketing, and event planning strategies for site-specific programs.
  • Assist with registration activities, including dual enrollment, financial aid assistance, and drop/add assistance during peak times.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in a related student affairs area, with one year of experience in college recruitment, advising, event planning, financial aid, or other related student affairs experience.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Clear and persuasive speaking skills for presentations, meetings, group, and one-on-one interactions.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with prospective students, parents, high school counselors, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to meet recruitment goals and deadlines.
  • In-depth knowledge of the college's programs and services, admission requirements, and student life, as well as an understanding of financial aid options.
Working Conditions:

The job requires staffing events, loading/unloading boxes/cartons of materials, and standing for long periods. Travel is involved in the job, and there is a lot of keyboard/computer work involved.
