Position Title: Enrollment Specialist II

Work Schedule: 31 hours per week, 5 days

Department: Student Affairs

Position Overview: This role is designed to deliver extensive support in the areas of admissions, registration, financial assistance, and guidance for students not pursuing a degree. Key responsibilities encompass aiding with applications, arranging appointments, navigating online systems, and managing document processing.

Core Responsibilities:

1. **Customer Service:**
- Act as the primary point of contact for inquiries related to student services.
- Assist students and families with all enrollment-related questions, evaluating their needs and providing tailored support for application processes, class enrollment, and funding applications.
- Offer personalized assistance, including troubleshooting online accounts and guiding students through financial aid applications.
- Deliver information to students, families, and the public regarding enrollment and financial aid requirements through various communication channels.

2. **Documentation Management:**
- Collect and organize financial aid documents, ensuring accurate submission and processing.
- Foster a sense of community and belonging among students to enhance retention and success rates.

3. **Collaboration and Training:**
- Serve as a liaison between students and various departments, facilitating referrals as necessary.
- Engage in ongoing professional development in admissions, registration, and financial aid.

4. **Technology Utilization:**
- Utilize various software systems to assist students in navigating their accounts and understanding enrollment processes.

Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree with three years of relevant experience, including financial aid; or Bachelor's Degree with two years of relevant experience.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Preferred Skills:
- Experience with enrollment management systems.
- Proven customer service skills.

- This position plays a crucial role in student onboarding, influencing retention and graduation rates. Errors in advising can significantly affect students' financial aid status and overall academic journey.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and sit for extended periods, with occasional lifting of up to 15 pounds.
