Job Summary:

The Assistant Front Office Manager is a key member of the Front Office team, responsible for ensuring exceptional guest service and maintaining high standards for all Front Office positions. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate and train team members to deliver outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Service: Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Front Office Operations: Lead daily operations in the Front Office, ensuring all service standards are followed for Front Desk and Bell, while supporting Valet, Concierge, and Royal Service/Reservations as needed.
  • Guest Concerns: Handle guest concerns and react quickly, logging and notifying proper areas and making decisions regarding proper next steps.
  • Team Management: Assist with the monthly departmental meetings, balance operational, administrative, and colleague needs, and lead the talent management initiatives of team members.
  • Training and Development: Assist in the development and implementation of trainings & SOP's to align with Accor and Fairmont Service Standards for all new and existing colleagues.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels pertaining to supplies and maintain a safe working environment at all times.
  • Additional Duties: Perform duties of front desk, bell, and royal service as required, and participate proficiently in functions outside one's department when called upon.

Requirements:

  • 2+ Years of previous supervisory experience required, preferably in a luxury setting.
  • Previous Opera Cloud Property Management System experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in handling emergency protocols required.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications required.
  • University/College degree in a related discipline preferred.
  • Must possess a professional presentation, strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities, and results-oriented with the ability to adapt to the challenges of a continually evolving workforce.
