We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team at Beach Front Property Management Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling accounts payable, preparing checks, and performing day-to-day processing of accounts payable transactions in an effective, up-to-date, and accurate manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and process invoices and check requests
- Sort and match invoices and check requests
- Prepare and mail yearly 1099s to vendors
- Track vendor insurance and W-9 information
- Post resident NSF
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 2 years' experience in accounting or a similar position
- Experience with Yardi, MS Excel, and MS Word
- Reliable, trustworthy, team-oriented, and able to handle a heavy workload
- Highly organized, accurate, and effective
- Strong ability to multi-task and learn quickly
- Ability to present information clearly and accurately, both written and orally
Working Conditions:
The Accounts Payable Clerk will spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers, which can cause muscle strain. The AP Clerk will also have to do some lifting of supplies and materials from time to time. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
The AP Clerk is located in a busy, open area office and may be faced with interruptions and must meet with others on a regular basis.
The AP Clerk must spend long hours in intense concentration and must also spend long hours on the computer entering financial information which requires attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
