About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Structural Engineer to join our team of experienced professionals at HII Corp. Defunct. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for analyzing and developing structural engineering specifications involving metals, non-metallic, or composite structural materials for product design and operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform engineering calculations, analysis, research, and design to ensure the structural integrity of our products.
  • Provide engineering support to designers and tradesmen to ensure seamless collaboration and effective communication.
  • Analyze damage tolerances, durability, and design allowables to ensure the safety and reliability of our products.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and recommendations for internal and external customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in software tools such as CATIA, IDEAS, and ProEngineer.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
