Position Overview

As a Structural Engineer II, you will play a crucial role in the engineering team, focusing on the analysis and development of structural specifications for various materials including metals and composites. Your expertise will contribute to the design and operational efficiency of complex systems, including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough analyses of structural integrity, including damage tolerance and durability assessments.
  • Utilize advanced modeling tools to support structural design and evaluation.
  • Review and validate engineering documentation to ensure compliance with technical standards.
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to clarify project requirements and deliverables.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or a Master's Degree with no prior experience.
  • Familiarity with submarine engineering principles and practices is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in engineering software such as CATIA, NX, and Teamcenter.
