Apollo Professional Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer II to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for analyzing, researching, and developing structural engineering specifications for product design and operation.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and develop structural engineering specifications for product design and operation, including structures, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronics systems.
- Conduct damage tolerance, durability, design allowables, and structural modeling analyses.
- Perform project management methodologies to implement assigned facilities projects, including creating and updating project schedules to ensure safety, quality, cost, schedule, and customer satisfaction.
- Communicate and coordinate with customers, contractors, and upper management throughout the project process.
- Inspect and verify construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established engineering drawings, specifications, and codes.
- Perform project closeout to ensure retention of project documents for future use and the sustainability and maintenance of the facility.
- ABET Engineering degree in Structural or Civil Engineering required.
- 2 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in Science or 0 years of experience with a Master's degree.
- Project management experience and relative software preferred but not required.
- Microsoft Office Suite or similar experience required.
- Sufficient structural or civil engineering experience to include performing structural evaluations and conducting building assessments in a large industrial facility setting.
- Strong project management, communication, organizational, and computer skills essential.
- Ability to work independently and as part of cross-functional teams to accomplish complex tasks.
- Ability to recognize and address technical, quality, and business aspects of a project to successfully execute assigned projects.
- Efficient and effective time management skills to execute multiple projects at different phases of the Project Implementation Process.
