Position Summary:

The Starbucks Team Leader plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless, professional, and profitable Starbucks operation while adhering to all company protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with Food Division Standards and Best Practices.
  • Oversee daily operations and maintain accountability for sales, expenses, and profitability.
  • Guarantee that the team prepares and presents beverages and food items according to Starbucks standards.
  • Implement Starbucks merchandising and product presentation guidelines.
  • Conduct regular quality checks to uphold food standards.
  • Serve as a positive role model in customer service and sales techniques.
  • Foster strong relationships with store management.
  • Provide ongoing training, feedback, and motivation to team members to enhance performance and satisfaction.
  • Maintain exemplary grooming and professional appearance standards.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and equipment care standards as mandated by health regulations.
  • Manage scheduling and payroll to optimize productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize sales forecasts and reports to meet financial goals.
  • Assist in the preparation and production of menu items.
  • Handle ordering and receiving of supplies based on operational needs.
  • Ensure timely payment of invoices in accordance with vendor agreements.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks to maintain food and beverage cost targets.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Ability to interpret safety and operational documents.
  • Flexible availability to work retail hours, including evenings and weekends.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to walk, stand, communicate, reach, crouch, and climb as needed.
  • Frequent use of technology and equipment necessary for job functions.
  • Capability to lift and move items up to 25lbs.
