Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Office Administrator to join our team at Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery. As a key member of our insurance team, you will be responsible for accurate data entry into our internal information system, ensuring seamless communication and efficient billing processes.

Estimated Salary Range:

$45,000 - $55,000 per year (based on 20-25 hours/week)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enter patient information with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Analyze and resolve denial issues from EOBs and correspondence daily.
  • Provide excellent customer service by fielding patient calls and addressing their concerns.
  • Process credit card payments and refunds in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records and report any claim submission problems to management.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.
  • Minimum two years' experience in a medical/billing office setting with strong knowledge of insurance, managed care, Medicare, and Medicaid.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
