About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Construction Superintendent to join our team at Michael Page. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for supporting the Superintendent in the management of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Support: Assist the Superintendent in the management of construction projects, including reviewing and verifying subcontractor layouts, monitoring production, and maintaining production documents.
  • Quality Control: Monitor job progress on-site, checking all work to ensure compliance with contract documents and the Quality Control Program.
  • Communication: Communicate with subcontractors and other project team members to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Logistics: Assist in maintaining the Construction Management Plan and logistical coordination.
  • Safety: Maintain and review the safety requirements for the project and resolve or report deficiencies to the Superintendent and Safety Manager.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3-5 years of superintendent experience in the commercial construction space.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment, and ability to multitask.
