Position Overview: Instructional Aide

The Instructional Aide plays a vital role in fostering an effective educational atmosphere at Cambridge Public Schools. This position involves collaborating with the lead educator to ensure a supportive and engaging learning experience for every student.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the classroom teacher in establishing a constructive educational environment for all learners.
  • Facilitate both small and large group instruction, design comprehensive units of study, and track student academic performance.
  • Engage in parent-teacher conferences, coordinate lunch and recess activities, accompany students on educational outings, and support various classroom functions.
Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a minimum of an Associate's degree or 48 college credits, have prior experience working with elementary-aged children, and demonstrate the ability to thrive in diverse educational settings.

Please note that assisting with student toileting may be part of the responsibilities associated with this position.
