About the Role:

The Employee Relations Business Partner (ERBP) plays a critical role in ensuring a positive and inclusive work environment at Apple. As a key member of the AppleCare organization, the ERBP provides expert guidance and support to managers, leaders, and employees on employee relations matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide consulting and direction on employee relations matters, ensuring legal compliance and adherence to Apple policies.
  • Develop and implement resolutions to complex and sensitive employee relations issues, including unusual situations where precedents are unavailable.
  • Advise and influence market leadership teams on critical and complex employee relations decisions, such as harassment, business conduct, terminations, and HR policies.
  • Evaluate and review employee-related decisions in response to employee concerns.
  • Conduct investigations into potential misconduct and policy violations, as well as workplace violence assessments and implement response plans as needed.
  • Develop and communicate company-wide employee relations programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct training for HR, ER, and line management on employee relations topics.
  • Use ER metrics to determine trends and develop proactive strategies to cultivate positive ER in the business.

Requirements:

  • 7-12 years of HR experience related to employee relations.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
  • Deep expertise in conducting investigations and skilled at documentation related to investigations.
