We are seeking a seasoned Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join our team at The Quikrete Companies, LLC. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR guidance and support to our business units.

This is a full-time position based in our headquarters, where you will work closely with our leadership team to drive business results through effective HR practices.

Main Responsibilities:

  • HR Function Leadership: Serve as the trusted advisor to our business leaders, providing expert guidance on HR-related matters and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Employee Relations: Manage employee relations matters, including coaching, counseling, and terminations, while maintaining a positive and respectful work environment.
  • Benefits and Compensation: Oversee the administration of our benefits programs, including open enrollment and plan changes, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Recruitment and Talent Management: Lead recruitment efforts for open positions, develop and implement talent management strategies, and provide guidance on performance management and rewards.
  • HR Operations: Collaborate with HR Operations to manage day-to-day HR activities, including HRIS systems, payroll, and other HR-related processes.

Main Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, with 10-15 years of HR Generalist experience, including broad knowledge of workforce strategy, employee relations, talent management, and talent acquisition.
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and work effectively with senior business leaders and internal stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Knowledge and Certifications: Familiarity with federal HR legislation and regulations, including FLSA, NLRA, EEOC, ADA, FMLA, and other relevant laws. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HRIS systems, with experience working alongside payroll and collaborating on key processes.
