POSITION SUMMARY:


The HR Coordinator plays a vital role within the HR Operations team, facilitating all elements of the employee lifecycle at Method Studios.

This team collaborates closely with HR Business Partners to support onboarding, offboarding, and various employment transitions across our operations in the US and Canada.

As the primary contact for employee inquiries, this position is dedicated to providing outstanding client service.

The HR Coordinator is also tasked with proposing enhancements and process improvements to enrich employee experience and foster a positive company culture.

MAIN DUTIES:


The HR Coordinator addresses employee inquiries submitted through a centralized ticketing system with professionalism and courtesy. Responsibilities include administrative tasks such as preparing employment verification letters, managing new hire documentation, sending essential documents for signatures, and coordinating offboarding processes.

This role involves liaising with Payroll or vendors to resolve discrepancies related to pay, time off, and other employment inquiries, as well as facilitating new hire orientation and onboarding programs, including overseeing background checks and employment verification.


Additional duties include:
Maintaining accurate electronic employee data to ensure timely updates on employment changes.
Collaborating with payroll and HR to manage employee leaves of absence.
Working with HR to ensure accurate and timely final pay for terminations.
Actively seeking opportunities to deliver exceptional service to our clients.

Participating in meetings with the HR Operations team and other departments to address process challenges, contribute to projects, and share updates.

Communicating with stakeholders to provide updates on ongoing activities.
Other responsibilities as assigned.

WHAT YOU BRING:


The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills and a keen attention to detail, with the ability to adapt and multitask as priorities shift.

They will have prior experience in HR or administrative roles and a solid understanding of employment practices and standards.

Additional desired skills include:

Proficient in MS applications:
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Maintaining a high degree of discretion, integrity, and confidentiality.
Previous data entry experience, preferably in an HR context, is advantageous.

Experience in supporting a high-volume business environment, such as a call center or corporate support team, is a plus.
