Role Summary
The Employee Relations Business Partner (ERBP) serves as a consultant and advisor on employee relations issues for managers, leaders, and employees within the AppleCare division. The primary goals include ensuring legal compliance and adherence to Apple’s policies in a consistent, objective, and equitable manner that upholds our core values. This is achieved through a strong collaboration with the Centers of Excellence (COEs).
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, assess, and implement solutions for complex and sensitive employee relations challenges, particularly in unique situations lacking precedents.
- Provide guidance and influence market leadership teams on critical employee relations matters, such as harassment, business conduct, terminations, and HR policies.
- Evaluate employee-related decisions in response to concerns raised by employees.
- Conduct thorough investigations into potential misconduct and policy breaches.
- Assess workplace violence risks and develop appropriate response strategies.
- Design, communicate, and implement organization-wide employee relations programs, policies, and procedures.
- Deliver training sessions for HR, ER, and line management on employee relations topics.
- Utilize employee relations metrics to identify trends and create proactive strategies for fostering positive employee relations within the business.
Qualifications
- 7-12 years of HR experience focusing on employee relations.
- In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
- Proven expertise in conducting investigations and proficient documentation skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholder relationships effectively.
- Demonstrated capacity to work autonomously, with strong organizational and planning skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others.
