Position Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management of publication processes related to the agency's diverse library of print, digital, and e-newsletter publications; maintain subscriptions for magazines, trade journals, and other publications; collaborate with circulation departments, publishers, and advertising representatives to secure periodical subscriptions and media kits; monitor and report on received publications regularly; track and analyze client publicity coverage across various media outlets; create digital scans of print coverage and PDFs of online coverage for clients; and report on media placements, impressions, and other relevant details for various clients.
  • Support assigned client accounts to ensure a range of integrated marketing campaigns and program plans meet and exceed clients' expectations consistently.
  • Assist senior team members with strategic public relations, media relations, advertising, and digital marketing initiatives, campaigns, and media outreach.
  • Prepare and submit materials for advertising campaigns, including copy, imagery, ad forms, and media planning documents, while resizing and modifying photo submissions as needed.
  • Conduct market and media research, applying findings to documentation, projects, and campaigns.
  • Assist with social and digital media campaigns and content creation for the agency and assigned clients.
  • Maintain accurate and current media lists, publication databases, media kits, meeting agendas, reports, and client documentation.
  • Coordinate high-quality deliverables for senior team members, including written content, feature stories, press releases, media materials, social media content, ad copy, and client correspondence.
  • Create engaging blog posts, article series, and podcasts for the agency and its clients across various media platforms.
  • Collaborate with senior team members on agency and client status reports, meeting agendas and minutes, administrative support, media and competitor coverage analysis, and traditional and social media analytics.
  • Research, coordinate, and develop media kits, presentations, graphs, charts, infographics, and other forms of content and data communication.
  • Work closely with both junior and senior team members to assist with client events, trade shows, conferences, symposiums, press conferences, media tours, and digital and onsite press rooms.
  • Proactively support agency owners and senior team members.
  • Provide assistance to colleagues involved in digital marketing efforts, including various Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and HubSpot marketing automation campaigns. Training will be provided, but prior experience with HubSpot is preferred.
  • Exhibit consistent, positive values and actions that align with ECPR's ongoing mission and daily operations.

Qualifications:

The Atlanta office of ECPR is looking for a candidate with outstanding interpersonal, networking, verbal, and written communication skills, along with a collaborative mindset, to fulfill the role of an entry-level Public Relations Coordinator supporting our diverse client portfolio, senior colleagues, and industry sectors.

Applicants should possess prior agency experience or have completed a 3-month internship at a public relations agency or within a corporate environment.

A 4-year BA or BS degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Strategic Communications, or a closely related field is required.
