POSITION SUMMARY

The Housing Support Services Manager is responsible for overseeing the housing assistance programs, which include emergency and transitional housing solutions. This role involves managing lease agreements and providing support to clients in securing housing placements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Identify and secure housing options across various categories, including short-term, transitional, and permanent housing.
  • Coordinate and manage oversight agreements, such as master leases and scattered site leasing, while supporting Assertive Community Treatment housing initiatives.
  • Assist clients in gathering necessary documentation for housing applications, including assessments and entry processes.
  • Provide field services and be available for on-call and after-hours support as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Assertive Community Treatment team, participating in daily meetings to ensure integrated service delivery.
  • Work closely with direct service staff to align housing options with clients' needs and preferences.
  • Represent the organization at community provider meetings in a professional manner.
  • Act as a liaison with housing industry professionals and service providers.
  • Ensure timely processing of housing payments and maintain communication with vendors.
  • Prepare monthly reports for funding sources and keep the team informed about housing availability and changes.
  • Manage housing invoices and track rent payments in collaboration with administrative staff.
  • Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures, including compliance with HIPAA regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree with two to three years of experience in housing-related social services, including needs assessment and housing stability support.
  • Preferred: State of California licensure or eligibility (ACSW, PCCI, AMFT).
  • Bilingual skills in English and Spanish or Vietnamese are advantageous.
  • Experience working with justice-involved individuals in mental health or substance use settings is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health record software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to respond effectively in emergencies.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.
