Operations Support Specialist at TEKsystems

Overview:

As an Operations Support Specialist at TEKsystems, you will report directly to the Operations Support Manager and play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to external clients, corporate personnel, and field office staff. Your main responsibility will be to efficiently manage and collect customer accounts receivable.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Efficient oversight of total accounts receivable, managing an Aging portfolio exceeding $3.5 million-$4 million.
  • Managing customer accounts, including invoicing, tracking purchase orders, resolving account discrepancies, and collaborating with clients to address any outstanding concerns.
  • Gathering critical data to assist management in making informed, account-specific decisions.
  • Serving as a primary point of contact for field offices and the Operations Support Group, addressing inquiries related to local/regional accounts, billing and payment policies, and system-related matters.
  • Performing audits on accounts to ensure precise billing and client-specific information.
Required Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in business, operations, management, or finance; leadership experience during academic tenure or relevant internships, or work experience is preferred.
  • A bachelor's degree in a non-business discipline, with relevant experience in accounts receivable, accounting, finance, or business operations being advantageous.
  • An associate degree along with pertinent experience in accounts receivable, accounting, finance, or business is required for this position.
  • Previous internships or work experience in customer service or a business/financial environment are beneficial.
