As a member of the Envelop Group, the PSG Energy Group facilitates the exploration and implementation of energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives for our clients. We conduct a thorough analysis of energy consumption to uncover potential savings and renewable energy solutions. Our comprehensive approach encompasses everything from initial concept and engineering to installation and ongoing operational support.

The Project and Business Development Coordinator plays a crucial role in providing administrative and project support, ensuring seamless operations. The ideal candidate is a collaborative team member who demonstrates confidence, adaptability, and responsiveness.

This position is primarily based in our downtown office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute administrative and office coordination tasks, including the preparation of presentations, proposals, and meeting documentation, ordering project-related supplies, managing travel arrangements, creating agendas, and maintaining precise records.
  • Attend project meetings, documenting discussions and following up with relevant departments to ensure all project-related documentation and requirements are current.
  • Assist in compiling project closeout documentation, such as data sheets and warranty information, in a timely manner.
  • Support the monitoring, tracking, and procurement of ongoing subcontractor executions, pay applications, and completion certifications.
  • Help manage the filing and renewal of annual software licenses, memberships, state contractor business applications, and annual reports.
  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with existing and potential clients through various communication channels to gather insights for leads.
  • Stay informed on industry news and publications for business development purposes.
  • Assist in tracking opportunities within the business development pipeline and updating relevant tracking applications (CRM) and reports.
  • Contribute to the preparation of award nominations, grant applications, or other incentive documentation relevant to current or prospective clients.
  • Support new client vetting processes, including checking for available state and federal incentives and conducting utility bill analyses.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate's Degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in an office environment.
  • At least 2 years of experience in supporting sales and operations.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and follow-through.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with clarity and confidence.
  • Ability to adapt to change and manage ambiguity and shifting priorities.
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration and influence.
  • A curious mindset with a comfort level in business operations.
  • Familiarity with office management practices and basic project and accounting principles.
  • Proficient in MS Office (including Teams), office management software (e.g., Acumatica), and CRM systems.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work is conducted in an office setting, requiring the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Must be able to lift and carry parcels and packages, walk short distances, and drive a vehicle for material delivery and pickup.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Must maintain a professional appearance.
  • May need to meet requirements imposed by specific projects or company needs.
  • Must be able to use hand tools, laptops, email, smartphones, and tablets.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
