Position Summary

ENERGYRE LLC is on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Renewable Energy Project Coordinator to enhance our innovative Development team. Reporting to the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Development, the Project Coordinator will be instrumental in managing and orchestrating activities throughout the various phases of renewable energy project development, including wind, solar, and energy storage projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellence in stakeholder engagement, community relations, project management, and adherence to regulatory standards, thus ensuring the successful delivery of ENERGYRE's sustainable energy initiatives.

Core Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage activities throughout the project lifecycle of renewable energy initiatives, including wind, solar, and storage projects.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, both internal and external, to support project development and align with ENERGYRE's strategic objectives.
  • Lead community outreach efforts to secure local support for renewable energy initiatives, fostering positive interactions and addressing community feedback.
  • Work closely with legal counsel to negotiate agreements with landowners and local authorities, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of project designs and data for accuracy, making necessary modifications to enhance project efficiency.
  • Keep track of transmission and interconnection studies relevant to current and future projects, adjusting development strategies as required.
  • Collaborate on permitting processes with local, state, and federal regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance and timely project approvals.
  • Manage contracts, payments, and activities associated with development projects, ensuring vendors meet quality standards within budget constraints.
  • Evaluate early to late-stage merger and acquisition opportunities, providing insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Assist in preparing project information and support negotiations for upcoming Requests for Proposals (RFPs), maximizing project prospects.
  • Maintain and update project budgets and timelines, ensuring alignment with financial goals and schedules.
  • Coordinate with various departments and team members to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of project-related activities.
  • Deliver project reports, presentations, and updates to executive leadership, keeping stakeholders informed of progress and developments.
  • Engage in local community outreach initiatives, representing ENERGYRE and fostering positive stakeholder relationships.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Development, contributing to the overall success of ENERGYRE's projects and initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.

Experience Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in renewable energy project development, demonstrating a successful track record of project execution.

Essential Skills

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, capable of establishing and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies, with the capability to lead and coordinate complex projects from inception to completion.
  • Comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements and permitting processes associated with renewable energy development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess project data, identify trends, and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Experience in contract negotiation, vendor management, and budget oversight within the realm of project development.
  • Able to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for project site visits, meetings, and community engagement activities.

Physical Demands

The Renewable Energy Project Coordinator may be required to perform the following physical activities:

  • Remain in a stationary position for extended periods, either standing or sitting.
