Position Overview:
The Strategic Account Executive (SAE) is responsible for cultivating, securing, and expanding revenue streams for the organization within assigned client accounts. This role entails gathering and analyzing pertinent customer, industry, and competitive insights to drive success in their designated territory. The SAE collaborates closely with internal teams to meet the profitability and performance objectives set forth by the organization.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement: Establish and nurture relationships through in-person sales meetings with all assigned clients, including approved entertainment activities. Develop connections with potential future clients.
  • Expertise Development: Serve as the authority on all company services by leveraging resources such as Sales Education and Product Knowledge Training. Engage with multiple levels within client organizations, including executive leadership.
  • Sales Strategy & Planning: Formulate and execute sales strategies for primary accounts to meet defined revenue and margin targets, while also directing secondary coverage to implement desired initiatives. Sales strategies will undergo review and approval by Division Sales Management. Collaborate with Solutions to fulfill corporate requests for proposals and work with pricing teams to secure special pricing arrangements. The SAE will oversee the process and ensure the timely submission of proposals, while also monitoring the profitability of assigned accounts.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities. With the endorsement of Sales Management, accounts may be adjusted according to established protocols.

Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent work experience required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a corporate or national accounts sales role, along with 5 years in a field sales capacity.
  • Skills: Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access). Moderate travel is expected.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead Inside Sales efforts in generating revenue at remote or low-revenue locations.
  • Collaboration: Proven track record of effectively working with other sales teams.
