Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
1. Direct and supervise the preparation and execution of the department's financial plans and budgets.
2. Serve as the primary representative for financial matters before legislative bodies and external stakeholders.
3. Provide strategic guidance and oversight for all financial operations, including:
   a. Development and submission of the annual budget requests.
   b. Implementation of financial management systems.
   c. Formulation of financial policies and procedures.
4. Collaborate with various departments to ensure cohesive operational management and innovative service delivery.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven ability to identify and analyze complex financial issues.
- In-depth knowledge of state financial systems and legislative budget processes.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and motivation.
- Proficiency in financial software and data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to maintain professional relationships.
