Role Overview:

The position involves facilitating comprehensive analysis and decision-making regarding various credit data to support lending operations and processes within the bank. The incumbent will foster a client-centric environment aimed at meeting and surpassing customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make informed credit decisions and recommendations adhering to established credit-granting principles and bank policies.
  • Act promptly and independently, ensuring client satisfaction is prioritized.
  • Engage in targeted outreach and manage pipelines effectively.
  • Provide strategic advice and guidance to assigned business units on solution implementation.
  • Analyze data to identify strategic challenges and offer insightful recommendations.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of client capital and credit risk.
  • Deliver precise financial assessments and risk evaluations for both new and existing clients.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather accurate and detailed client information.
  • Develop credit profiles to inform lending decisions for new, renewal, and extension loans.
  • Assist in negotiating terms and conditions through client interactions.
  • Prepare summaries and present findings regarding creditworthiness.
  • Mitigate risk exposure by adhering to internal credit policies during lending decisions.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of operational programs.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Focus may be directed towards specific business units or groups.
  • Innovate and propose creative solutions to challenges.
  • Utilize sound judgment to identify and resolve issues within established guidelines.
  • Work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Typically requires 3-5 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years of prior experience in Commercial Loan and Credit analysis is essential.
  • Possess in-depth functional knowledge along with broad business acumen.
  • Exhibit strong analytical capabilities and exceptional quantitative analysis skills.
  • Demonstrate highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Show proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet applications.
  • Possess strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to operate under limited supervision.
  • Basic understanding of risk management principles.
  • Quick learning and adaptability are crucial.
  • Exhibit excellent capacity to independently manage multiple client accounts.
  • Possess specialized knowledge gained through education and/or professional experience.
  • In-depth verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Influence and negotiation skills are critical.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is between $52,000 and $98,400.00, with the pay type being salaried. The compensation package may vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications.
