Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse and intricate portfolio of clients.
- Collaborate with management to oversee account portfolios.
- Identify and implement process enhancements within the assigned portfolio.
- Analyze customer account decision-making processes to assess profitability and associated risks.
- Ensure compliance and address any identified issues for resolution.
- Resolve complex customer inquiries and challenges.
- Work alongside management to address issues and provide updates on progress.
- Develop a thorough understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
- Lead the team and act as a subject matter expert within the department.
- Engage with peers and management to resolve challenges and meet objectives.
- Interact with internal stakeholders to facilitate operations.
- Exercise independent judgment while gaining knowledge of functions, policies, and compliance requirements.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Business Relationship Support or equivalent experience through work, training, military service, or education.
- Familiarity with Small Business Administration (SBA) Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Policies.
- Experience with SBA 7a and 504 Lending.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to quickly grasp business operations and processes.
- Understanding of Anti Money Laundering (AML) and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) regulations.
- Experience in commercial banking and credit.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Customer service-oriented with strong listening skills to understand client needs.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and prioritization abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships.
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred.
- Capability to identify cross-sell opportunities and engage in moderately complex customer transactions.
- Extensive knowledge of commercial or specialty group servicing operations.
- Familiarity with systems supporting Commercial Banking clients.
