Position Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Business Relationship Support Specialist within the Commercial Middle Market Banking SBA Division. This role is essential in managing a diverse portfolio of clients and ensuring their needs are met effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a complex portfolio of clients with accountability for their satisfaction and success.
  • Collaborate with management to oversee account portfolios and ensure optimal service delivery.
  • Identify and implement process enhancements to improve client interactions.
  • Analyze decision-making processes for client accounts, assessing profitability and associated risks.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and report any discrepancies for prompt resolution.
  • Resolve intricate client issues independently, providing timely updates to management.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
  • Lead a team and act as a subject matter expert within the department.
  • Engage with colleagues and management to address challenges and achieve collective objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to foster collaboration.
  • Exercise independent judgment while gaining knowledge of operational functions and compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
Required:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Business Relationship Support or a related field.
Preferred:
  • Familiarity with Small Business Administration (SBA) Standard Operating Procedures and Policies.
  • Experience with SBA 7a and 504 Lending.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to business operations and processes.
  • Understanding of Anti Money Laundering (AML) and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) regulations.
  • Experience in commercial banking and credit.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a team setting.
  • Customer-focused with a keen ability to identify and address client needs.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking capabilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships effectively.
  • A BS/BA degree or higher is preferred.
  • Capability to identify cross-sell opportunities and engage in moderately complex client transactions.
  • Extensive knowledge of commercial servicing operations.
  • Familiarity with systems supporting Commercial Banking clients.
