Job Overview:

The Associate Analyst is responsible for the inception and ongoing support of reserve calculations requirements related to Cash Management. This role leads and participates in large firm transformation projects, ad-hoc audits and process optimization efforts. Additionally, will assist with ad-hoc department data and reporting needs along with providing recommendations to leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • In collaboration with finance and control teams, create, compile and review operational policies and procedures for newly created regulatory requirements
  • Complete, compile and optimize Customer Reserve calculation daily
  • Developing, managing and leading a project plan across various groups
  • Analyzing and reviewing large amounts of data to ensure accuracy
  • Providing recommendations to leadership on potential policy and procedure enhancements based data and project findings

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in general brokerage industry knowledge
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel and Access)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Self-starter who requires minimal management oversight for day-to-day work responsibilities
  • Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to solving and preventing problems
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities to ensure deadlines provided by regulators and firm are followed and identify and manage firm risk

Preferences:

  • Structured query language (SQL) experience
  • Knowledge of BETA, Documentum, MS Access

Pay Range:

$20.23-$33.71/hourActual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
