Position Overview:

Role Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Credit Review Examiner to conduct thorough evaluations of risk management practices across the organization. Your expertise will be essential in assessing the quality of risk assets and the effectiveness of our credit control processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and assess risk asset portfolios to identify any negative trends and ensure compliance with established policies and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain Risk Profile & Monitoring Plans that highlight key risk factors and allocate necessary resources effectively.
  • Conduct detailed analyses of individual credits and credit relationships, ensuring adherence to approval conditions and the accuracy of risk grading.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of credit risk controls and analyze financial documents to identify potential risks within portfolios.
  • Serve as the Examiner-In-Charge for complex portfolios, overseeing all aspects of on-site examination activities.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports detailing examination findings and significant issues, ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding matters.
  • Provide expert guidance on credit policies and control procedures to various units within the organization.
  • Communicate sensitive issues clearly to senior management and provide leadership and training to fellow examiners.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, with a strong background in lending and examination.
  • Expertise in commercial real estate and commercial lending examination.
  • A broad understanding of sectors such as Oil & Gas, Project Finance, and Structured Finance.
  • Strong analytical skills in credit and financial statement analysis.
  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • A Bachelor's degree and/or Master's in Business or a related field.

Compensation:
The typical base salary for this position ranges from $122K to $164K, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package, including health and wellness benefits, retirement plans, and paid leave.
