Job Overview:

The Analyst, Advisory Operations/Advisory Billing, provides problem-solving, reporting, and training support to their respective team for the department's required processes. The Analyst will handle more complex tasks, billing inquiries and cases, as well as support work that crosses into other teams within LPL.

Responsibilities:

  • Must have the ability to communicate complex issues both in writing and verbally to management and internal/external vendors and customers. Must be able to provide oversight of existing processes and mitigate risk against future firm impact.
  • Documents quality issues, performance measures and quality improvements for management review.
  • Complete daily/weekly/monthly tasks ranging in complexity and difficulty that impact the accurate billing of advisory accounts.
  • Support leadership on multiple and possibly overlapping projects.
  • Reengineer existing processes for improved experience and accuracy.
  • Some night and weekend work required, 3-4 weekend days per year, scheduled in advance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • SIE or ability to attain within 6 months of hire
  • 3+ years in the brokerage and financial services industry
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Core Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of Word, Outlook, Visio and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure
  • Ability to rationalize and simplify complex issues

Preferences:

  • Project coordination experience is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Additional FINRA licensing a plus

Pay Range:

$23.89-$39.81/hourActual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
