At J & S Ice Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of maintaining inventory, ordering from vendors, and ensuring food quality and time sensitivity.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and place orders with vendors as needed.
  • Oversee the kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and presentation.
  • Monitor food quality and plating to ensure consistency and excellence.
  • Address any issues that may arise in the kitchen in a timely and effective manner.
  • Communicate effectively with other Operation Managers and Owner to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements:

  • Supervisory experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Experience in hiring, training, scheduling, and staff evaluations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Experience with food, liquor, and beer ordering and inventory management.
  • Possession or ability to obtain Food Handler's permit upon employment.

Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Experience: 2+ years of kitchen management experience preferred.
