The Executive Chef will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including food production, purchasing, and inventory management. This individual will work closely with the Operations Manager to plan and execute special events and functions, and will be responsible for ensuring that all food safety and sanitation standards are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage food production and purchasing operations to ensure high-quality food is prepared and served to patients and staff.
  • Oversee the kitchen staff and provide guidance and training as needed.
  • Develop and implement menus and recipes to meet the dietary needs of patients and staff.
  • Monitor food costs and inventory levels to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to plan and execute special events and functions.
  • Recruit, interview, and hire kitchen staff as needed.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and counseling to kitchen staff.
Requirements:
  • Associate degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as an Executive Chef in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations and standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
