Construction Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Superintendent to join our team at Olgoonik Corporation. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily construction work at various sites, ensuring top-quality workmanship, efficiency, and employee satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Directly supervise and coordinate activities of minor construction projects, reporting to the Program Manager.
- Perform supervisory and management functions, including reviewing and verifying crew time sheets and submitting them to Payroll.
- Recognize and communicate priority projects or problems, such as employee or job costing issues and client complaints.
- Ensure proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed, bringing problems to the attention of the Construction Manager, Safety Department, or HR Manager.
- Coordinate subcontract work onsite for all trades assigned to the project.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- A minimum of 5 to 10 years of related experience, including on-the-job training and experience in construction practices.
- Strong knowledge of administration and management, including planning, allocating resources, managing production, and coordinating people and equipment.
- Excellent coordination, time management, active listening, oral and written expression and comprehension, critical thinking, and reasoning skills.
- Ability to read, understand, and apply information obtained from blueprints, surveys, and job specifications.
- Interpersonal skills sufficient to positively interact with colleagues and clients.
The Construction Superintendent will work regularly indoors and outdoors in all types of weather conditions, including snow, rain, sleet, extreme winds, or ice storms. May be exposed to extreme temperatures, hot and cold, as part of environmental factors. Work may be performed near moving mechanical parts and/or vibration. May be required to work in areas where high noise hazards prevail. May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles or electrical shock hazards.
