Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the Cybersecurity team and associated policies.
  • Formulate strategic IT plans, policies, and procedures to ensure operational efficiency and reliability.
  • Develop a unified strategy for online gaming technology operations.
  • Direct all IT delivery initiatives.
  • Manage technical operations across various platforms and ensure comprehensive testing and solutions.
  • Act as the product owner for the technology operations backlog.
  • Establish service level agreements (SLAs) for the help desk.
  • Oversee vendor relationships and manage the hybrid office model.
  • Provide senior-level technical support to all reporting teams.
  • Ensure robust support models for new state rollouts.
  • Utilize Kanban boards for monitoring and continuous improvement.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies to enhance operations.
  • Participate in sprint retrospectives to drive team performance.
  • Ensure compliance with agreed SLAs and report on exceptions.
  • Continuously review existing technology operations to optimize performance and reduce costs.
  • Promote transparency through online dashboards and metrics.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory SLAs for technical responses.
  • Monitor KPIs and assist in establishing operational level agreements (OLAs).
  • Encourage team participation in technical guilds and initiatives.
  • Foster a DevOps culture and promote transparency within the team.

Essential Functions

Ability to operate computers and other technological devices for extended periods.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in technology preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the online gaming sector.
  • At least 10 years of experience in technology operations.
  • Extensive knowledge of computer software and hardware, including servers and systems.
  • Experience in a highly regulated industry.
  • Proven ability to assess and enhance processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, particularly in addressing user issues.
  • Experience in budget management and overseeing departmental expenditures.
  • Proficient in managing geographically dispersed teams.
  • Strong analytical and management skills.
  • Technical expertise in network, server, and storage technologies.
  • Experience with cloud solutions and automation tools.
  • Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments and drive continuous improvement.

Compensation

The annual salary range for this position is competitive and based on various factors including experience and qualifications. This role is also eligible for a performance-based bonus plan.
