  • Oversee the individual giving program, including membership and major gifts, while working alongside the development team to broaden the organization’s financial support.
  • Guide and mentor development staff in creating multi-channel approaches for donor identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
  • Engage Board members as vital advocates and resources for fundraising initiatives.
  • Supervise a dedicated team, fostering a collaborative environment that aligns with the organization’s strategic objectives.
  • Ensure seamless integration of fundraising priorities across all departments.
  • Collaborate with research teams to identify and pursue optimal funding opportunities.
  • Meet or exceed annual fundraising targets, contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.

  • Proven track record in securing six and seven-figure donations, with the ability to inspire and guide others in successful fundraising practices.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with a wide range of donors.
  • Experience in leading and developing high-performing teams, with a focus on achieving collective goals.

Preferred Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in fundraising, ideally within a nonprofit or cultural organization.
  • Dynamic leadership style, characterized by critical thinking and innovative problem-solving.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Experience in navigating complex organizational environments and fostering cross-departmental collaboration.
