Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Vice President of Manufacturing Operations to join our innovative pharmaceutical organization. This leadership role will be pivotal in steering our manufacturing operations towards excellence and efficiency.

Position Summary:
The Senior Vice President will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and will oversee all facets of manufacturing, including production, quality assurance, logistics, research and development, procurement, and compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and optimize all operational processes to ensure adherence to quality, safety, and financial standards.
  • Direct the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Procurement, and Safety teams.
  • Ensure all manufacturing practices comply with regulatory standards.
  • Initiate and manage capital expenditure projects aligned with the company’s growth objectives.
  • Collaborate with plant leadership to establish operational goals and performance metrics.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and implement necessary adjustments to enhance team effectiveness.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing leadership team.
  • Formulate and execute strategic initiatives to drive operational success.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to create and manage operational budgets.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degrees in Engineering or related disciplines are advantageous.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly within cGMP settings.
  • At least 8 years of leadership experience in manufacturing operations.
  • A thorough understanding of cGMP regulations and Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Strong financial management skills and experience with capital projects.
  • Experience in plant consolidation or relocation projects is preferred.
