Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Vice President of Operations and Sales to join our Mid-Atlantic region team. This key leadership role will direct and develop leadership in key operational service areas, overseeing resident services and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and mentor senior leaders in areas of facilities management, culinary services, health and wellness, memory care, and business office operations.
- Develop and execute plans to enhance profitability, productivity, and efficiency throughout the operations.
- Manage the organization's operations by directing and coordinating activities consistent with established goals, objectives, and policies.
- Investigate and introduce process improvement measures, presenting suggestions to the Chief Operating Officer for consideration.
- Participate in vendor evaluations and negotiations to ensure product relevance and cost-efficiency.
- Develop and manage the use of metrics and analytics, working closely with the Business Intelligence Group.
- Implement revenue enhancements and cost control tools.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of competition service offerings.
- Lead the annual operations budget process, working with Accounting, Finance, and Regional Ops Leaders.
- Represent the company at industry events.
- Coordinate with tech vendors to eliminate redundancies.
- Work across other DSL home office departments to drive operations excellence.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with a Master's degree strongly preferred.
- A minimum of seven (7) years' experience in a senior living or related leadership role with budgetary, financial, and hospitality responsibilities.
- Ability to travel frequently.
