Key Responsibilities
The Vice President will:
1. Collaborate closely with the Vice President of University Advancement and senior leadership to develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies.
2. Lead efforts to enhance philanthropic support aligned with the University’s strategic priorities.
3. Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including alumni, donors, and community partners, to cultivate a culture of giving.
4. Oversee the management and professional development of the fundraising team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
5. Utilize effective communication skills to present fundraising initiatives and engage senior-level volunteers and committees.
Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
- A bachelor’s degree; an advanced degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in fundraising and development.
- Proven success in managing major gift prospects and leading fundraising campaigns.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and mentoring high-performing teams.
