Position Overview:

We are looking for an HR Generalist who will play a key role in managing various HR functions within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources, with a focus on employee relations, Payroll, HR Compliance, and Benefits Administration. The Senior HR Generalist will work closely with employees and management to foster a positive and engaging workplace culture and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations. The successful candidate will create positive relationships with employees and maintain an open-door policy to address employee concerns and questions.

Responsibilities:

•Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.

•Implements company-wide Human Resources initiatives.

•Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.

•Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal as needed/required.

•Manage company's HRIS system to ensure HR transactions are processed correctly and in a timely manner. Ensure payroll is processed in a timely manner.

•Benefits administering for the entire company, vendor management, oversee all benefits offered by the company as well as manage open enrollment.

•Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).

•Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.

•Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.

•Develops contract terms / offer letters for new hires, promotions, and transfers.

•Provides guidance and input on business unit restructuring, workforce planning and succession planning.

•Participates in Safety meetings and ensures OSHA compliance.

•Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.

•Analyzes trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs, and policies.

•Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications:

•Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field highly preferred.

•Minimum 5 years' experience as an HR Generalist in a manufacturing or industrial setting, ISO certification experience highly preferred.

•Experience using Paylocity is highly preferred.

•Leads with an open-door policy.

•In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations.

•Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

•Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

•Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.

•Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
