Essential Duties & Responsibilities include :

To create new business opportunities and develop existing business opportunities Effectively and proactively manage regional channel partners To promote our range of food safety products To provide first class customer service, training and technical support to our customers Maintain customer databases Compile customer reports Building market intelligence and network of key industry contact across the region Report back on market feedback, market drivers, be involved with Director – Business Development Middle East in developing strategies. Developing relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in the region Input into product development ideas and projects Set budgets and forecasts for the regional food safety products Drive revenue growth via uptake of food safety testing in the region Liaise with customer services in relation to customer order processing etc. The role requires around 40% of your time to be spent out in the field. This role is ideally located in Dubai, however outstanding candidates from other locations within the Middle East will be considered. Knowledge, skills and experience required includes:

Bachelor, Master of Science or Ph.D (B.Sc, MSc or Ph.D) with previous work experience ideally in the field of food safety or food science. A good background and understanding of the Middle East markets would be highly advantageous. Previous customer facing experience in technical sales preferable. Have a working understanding of the sales ordering/recording processes. Hold a current clean driving license & flexible to travel internationally. Ability to demonstrate technical knowledge with customers and at conference and trade shows Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, OneNote, Skype, Access). Familiarity with commercially available food safety technologies.
