The Administrative Nursing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the delivery of nursing services throughout the hospital during the evening and night shifts. This role ensures that nursing practice and patient care standards are consistently maintained.

Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage nursing services during evening and night shifts. Ensure adherence to nursing practice standards and patient care protocols. Utilize management theory, labor relations knowledge, and hospital policies. Communicate effectively with staff and promote career development. Provide necessary resources and authority for staff actions. Engage in continuous learning and professional development. Drive quality improvements using nursing research and evidence-based practice. Foster positive relationships with patients, visitors, and staff. Implement hospital policies and regulatory codes. Collaborate with the Director on unit operations and management. Conduct rounds to assess adherence to standards and provide support. Address staffing and monitor hospital codes and documentation. Ensure compliance with PCS Scope of Service, Nursing Philosophy, and Ethical Standards. Resolve conflicts and respond to communications promptly. Enhance team relations through constructive feedback. Report and follow-up on patient safety issues and other pertinent matters. Set and monitor customer service improvement goals. Establish and maintain departmental communication plans. Assume additional responsibilities as assigned.

Skills & Experience: Minimum 5 years of nursing leadership in acute care. At least 10 years of experience in critical care or emergency department (ED). Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. Experience with quality improvement models and tools. Effective in establishing working relationships with all departments and staff levels. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated competence in clinical specialty and administrative skills. Commitment to professional growth and development.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required. Master's Degree in Nursing preferred.

Certifications & Licensure: Current NY State RN License. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification. Specialty certification required.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $68.00 - $72.00 per hour
