Senior Program Manager

LightFeather is currently seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager with a proven track record in managing teams delivering high-quality analytics and user experience services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program management, team leadership, data analytics, and a deep understanding of the technical aspects required to deliver exceptional results to our Federal clients.
This Position is Full Time, Remote.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage teams of at least 15 personnel, including contractors, providing analytics and user experience services.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination among stakeholders to ensure project success across various products and departments.
- Create and deliver a range of documentation and visual materials, including reports, presentations, charts, and graphs.
- Create and implement training materials to enhance team skills and ensure efficient execution of various processes.
- Monitor and report on project progress, including status updates, resource allocation, and utilization, to key contacts and decision-makers.
- Manage project resources, including staffing, onboarding, clearance processes, and training requirements, to ensure project objectives are met.
- Generate monthly project status reports, compile work products, and prepare budget summaries for review by stakeholders.
- Oversee analytics and exploratory data analysis initiatives, translating complex data sets into strategic insights.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- US Citizenship.
- Active or prior IRS or Department of Treasury clearance at the Public Trust level or above. If prior, must be active within the last two years.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in managing teams providing analytics and/or user experience services.
- Demonstrated experience managing contractor teams supporting Federal clients, with a team size of at least 15 personnel.
- Strong background in Agile methodologies, particularly within data science projects.
- Experience in data analytics, exploratory data analysis, and delivering data pipelines.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders effectively.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
- Deep understanding of the Federal contracting environment and the unique challenges and opportunities it presents.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with technologies and tools such as PowerBI, Airflow, Erwin, GitLab, and Python or similar for AI/ML projects.
