Our focus is primarily on medical product manufacturers, along with potential clients from group purchasing organizations, software companies, and other relevant entities.

Key Qualifications:

A proven track record in member development sales, retention strategies, or corporate relations is essential for success in this role. Familiarity with the medical products sector and related distribution channels is highly desirable.

About HIDA:

HIDA serves as the trade association for medical products distributors and their partners, ensuring the delivery of critical medical supplies, including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), to healthcare facilities nationwide.

Work Environment:

Our offices are situated in a flexible work environment, allowing for a combination of in-office and remote work. This position will involve travel several times a year.

Essential Responsibilities:

Member Recruitment:

  • Develop and manage a robust recruitment pipeline by identifying and evaluating potential member companies.
  • Execute targeted email outreach campaigns to engage prospective members.
  • Arrange and conduct meetings with key decision-makers, delivering persuasive sales presentations.
  • Engage with prospects through both in-person and virtual meetings, assess their needs, present membership advantages, and finalize sales.

Member Retention:

  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new members to ensure they receive maximum value from their membership.
  • Lead quarterly orientation sessions for new members to boost engagement and retention rates.

Accredited In Medical Sales (AMS) Program:

  • Promote sales of AMS Sales Training licenses, striving to meet or surpass established sales targets.
  • Formulate and implement strategies to enhance program adoption and revenue generation.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree or a comparable combination of education and experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Membership Sales, Retention, Strategic Accounts, or Corporate Relations.

Skills and Abilities:

  • In-depth knowledge of the medical products industry and related distribution channels is preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in member development sales or selling intangible products and services is advantageous.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and sales skills, both over the phone and in person.
  • Strong project management capabilities, with a focus on organization and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation proficiency.
  • A strong customer service orientation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and database management applications.
  • A collaborative mindset, capable of working effectively with members, staff, and external partners.
