POSITION SUMMARY
At Sunrise, the Activities Coordinator plays a vital role in orchestrating daily programs and events for a Sunrise Senior Living community.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee volunteer-driven activities and initiatives that enhance the quality of life for residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care.
Work collaboratively with other department leaders and the Executive Director to cultivate partnerships with local educational institutions, businesses, and community organizations to build a robust network of volunteers and resources.
Manage a comprehensive calendar of events that offers diverse experiences for residents and their families.Prepare budgets and monitor financial statements to ensure alignment with revenue and expenditure goals.
Leadership duties encompass recruiting, training, mentoring, and retaining a skilled team of employees.
REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of one year of supervisory experience in a related field, ideally within a senior living context.
Demonstrated ability to inspire and guide volunteers and team members to deliver exceptional activity programming.
Possession of relevant state certifications or licenses, such as a CDL (commercial driver's license).
Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations related to resident care and services.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) with a willingness to learn new software applications.
Availability to work evenings and weekends to accommodate the needs of residents and staff.

COMPENSATION NOTICE
Selected candidates will receive competitive compensation based on the geographic location of the community/office, along with their skills, experience, qualifications, and any relevant certifications/licenses.
