POSITION SUMMARY
At Sunrise, the Recreation Program Manager plays a pivotal role in orchestrating daily activities and initiatives for a Sunrise Senior Living community.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee volunteer-driven activities and programs that enhance the lives of residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care.
Work in collaboration with other department coordinators and the Executive Director to foster relationships with local educational institutions, businesses, and community organizations to build a robust network of volunteers and resources.
Maintain an organized calendar of events and activities that offer diverse experiences for residents and their families.Prepare budgets and monitor financial statements to ensure alignment with revenue and budgetary goals.
Leadership duties include recruiting, training, mentoring, and retaining a high-caliber team of employees.
REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of one year of supervisory experience in a related field, ideally within a senior living context.
Demonstrated ability to inspire and train volunteers and team members to deliver exceptional activity programming.
Possession of all necessary state-level certifications or licenses, such as a CDL (commercial driver's license).
Familiarity with local and federal regulations relevant to resident care and services.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, and Excel) with a willingness to learn new software applications.
Availability to work evenings and weekends to accommodate the needs of residents and team members.

COMPENSATION INFORMATION
Selected candidates will receive competitive compensation based on the community's geographic location, skills, experience, qualifications, and any relevant certifications/licenses.
