Job Summary:

The Account Executive is responsible for generating new business and managing existing client relationships within the company. This role involves identifying sales opportunities, promoting the company's transportation services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a driven sales professional with a deep understanding of trucking operations and logistics.

The Account Executive responsibilities include:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the trucking and logistics industry.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue targets.
  • Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Understand clients' transportation needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Close sales and ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with clients to assess their needs and identify opportunities for additional services.
  • Handle customer concerns and provide effective solutions to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with the internal teams to address client issues and enhance service quality.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of sales strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer profiles within company CRM.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management, preferably within the trucking or logistics industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
  • Ability to travel regularly within assigned territory to meet with clients as well as required company meetings.
  • Comfortable working in various environments, including office settings and client sites.
  • Fast-paced and target-driven work setting requiring adaptability and resilience.
