Role Overview

This position is focused on driving new customer acquisition and managing the sales process from initial contact to closing. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in sales and will thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and nurture relationships with potential clients to drive revenue growth.
  • Qualify leads generated by the sales development team.
  • Keep prospects informed about new product features and updates.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms with clients.
  • Collaborate with the contracts department to finalize agreements.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline, managing approximately 30 opportunities concurrently to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Conduct client development activities, including scheduling meetings and delivering presentations.
  • Participate actively in a team-oriented sales environment.

Additional Duties

  • Generate approximately 50% of your pipeline through proactive outreach.
  • Consistently achieve sales goals and deadlines.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Document lead and customer interactions in the CRM system.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in sales.

Qualifications

  • Self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Experience with RFx processes (RFP, RFI, DDQ, Security Questionnaire).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and online presentation tools.
  • Demonstrated success in a structured sales methodology, preferably MEDDPICC.
  • 2-5 years of experience in B2B software sales.
  • Proven ability to meet sales quotas, particularly with enterprise accounts.
  • Experience engaging prospects in trial or proof-of-concept scenarios.
  • Ability to create and execute effective sales plans.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from $150,000 to $185,000 in On-Target Earnings (base salary plus commission), depending on experience and location.
