Role Overview

This position is remote and open to candidates across various locations. The Account Executive will play a crucial role in acquiring new clients, guiding them from initial contact through to successful closure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with potential clients to drive revenue growth.
  • Qualify leads generated by the Sales Development Team.
  • Ensure prospects are informed about new products, features, and relevant updates.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms with clients.
  • Collaborate with the Contracts Department to finalize agreements.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline, managing approximately 30 opportunities simultaneously to exceed sales targets.
  • Engage in daily activities including client outreach, scheduling meetings, conducting presentations, and managing proposals.
  • Work collaboratively within a sales team framework.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Self-generate approximately 50% of the sales pipeline through proactive outreach.
  • Consistently meet and exceed sales goals and deadlines.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Document lead and customer interactions in the CRM system.
  • Stay informed about sales best practices and industry trends.
  • Assist in the collection of customer payments as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Self-motivated with strong adaptability.
  • Excellent time management capabilities.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with RFx processes (RFP, RFI, DDQ, Security Questionnaire).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and online presentation tools.
  • Demonstrated success in a structured sales methodology, preferably MEDDPICC.
  • 2-5 years of experience in B2B software sales, particularly with enterprise accounts.
  • Experience in engaging prospects during trial or proof of concept phases.
  • Ability to create and execute detailed sales plans.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from $150,000 to $185,000 in On-Target Earnings (base salary plus commission), depending on experience and location.
