We are an established family law firm comprised of a wonderful and dedicated team of legal professionals committed to supporting our clients with the highest quality legal services available. We are looking for a full-time (non-exempt) Administrative Assistant to join our collaborative team.


The Administrative Assistant position entails the following:

  • General day-to-day office administration (i.e. processing/scanning mail, answering incoming phone calls, office supply management)
  • Conducting intakes with potential clients, scheduling consultations and follow-up confirmation emails
  • Managing of the team calendar
  • Handling all aspects of client billing by preparing invoices, accepting payments, managing unpaid accounts, etc.
  • Managing client expenses and vendor bills
  • Occasional running of errands as needed
  • Working in-office full-time

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience: Prior office experience, preferably in a legal setting. Ideally, experience with billing, but willing to train the right candidate.
  • Tech-Savvy: Must be competent in office technology and has no problem trouble-shooting tech issues that occur in an office setting.
  • Personality: Has an outgoing personality, great phone etiquette, and is comfortable talking to clients/potential clients (who at times can be highly emotional) and interviewing them to obtain needed information. Has a sense of humor and will enjoy a light-hearted laugh with colleagues.
  • Skills: Is organized, reliable, has strong attention to detail, and doesn’t have a problem with asserting themselves and asking for what they need. They love to own their projects and responsibilities and check off their list of To Dos.
  • Vehicle:  Possesses a reliable vehicle with sufficient insurance coverage and registration.

Here are some of the ways we support our staff:

  • Competitive pay: Expected salary range of $20-$30 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
  • Reduced full-time hours. Our office closes each Friday at 12:30 with all staff being permitted to leave early and still be paid for the full 8 hours.
  • Sick/Vacation/Holidays: 10 days per year of vacation time and 5 days per year of sick time, plus generous paid holidays. For most Monday federal holidays, our office closes the Friday before the holiday weekend to make it a 4-day weekend (paid). We also close the office for a holiday week in December (paid).
  • Health insurance: Generous health benefits package that includes a 100% employer-sponsored platinum medical, dental, and vision plan with no waiting period.
  • FSA/DCA: We offer a Flexible Savings Account and Dependent Care Account for you to access tax-free funds in paying for health expenses, childcare, etc.
  • 401(k): We offer a 401(k) Plan to our employees. Even if you do not contribute to your plan, we make contributions on your behalf to match 3% of your annual compensation.
