WTTG/WDCA - Streaming Sales & Insights Specialist (Regular Full-Time)

Look no further Fox Television Stations has an opening for a newly created position in the Washington, DC market. FOX 5 DC / FOX 5 Plus is part of Fox Corporation and Fox Television Stations, world leading and valued media brands, airing the most hours of original programming in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia local television market. This Specialist role is one part marketer, one part data analyst and is fully involved from the pre-sales process all the way through to post ad campaign reporting.
Our ideal candidate for this job has worked in local media sales (not necessarily as a direct seller), is familiar with the ever-changing world of streaming advertising, possesses excellent communication skills, and is adept at analyzing advertising performance data. You have a passion for all things digital, including Digital Streaming TV and social media. We are looking for an independent thinker, but even more so we are searching for the person that thrives in a collaborative environment.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Working with the station sales team to create compelling advertising packages focused on delivering results for our customers
- Monitoring ongoing campaign results within the FLX platform
- Developing insights-focused, data driven stories as part of our post-campaign reporting
- Accompanying the sales team on both new business pitches and ongoing account meetings
- Minimum 2 years experience working in streaming/digital media
- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and listening
- Critical thinking and curious about data
- Four-year college degree
- Proficiency in MS Office applications: PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
