As we expand, we are in search of a skilled sales professional to fill the role of Account Executive. This position not only offers substantial financial rewards but also the opportunity for career advancement into a leadership role within the sales department, should that be of interest.
You will collaborate closely with our CEO, seasoned Business Development Representatives (BDRs), and Sales Engineering teams to pinpoint target accounts, develop outbound marketing strategies, and finalize sales agreements. With an abundance of opportunities available, this role is a prime chance to engage in a dynamic sales environment. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a crucial role in our growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of Picnic's product suite, value proposition, and competitive positioning.
- Develop, nurture, and secure new recurring revenue streams within targeted accounts.
- Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets for recurring revenue.
- Utilize Salesforce as the primary system for record-keeping.
- Transform consistent prospecting efforts into new client relationships.
- Stay informed about the cybersecurity partner ecosystem and identify potential collaboration opportunities for Picnic.
Essential Qualifications:
- A minimum of five years in quota-carrying software sales roles.
- At least two years of experience in cybersecurity sales, specifically targeting CISOs and similar positions.
- Proven ability to manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closing, including:
- Creating a territory plan for demand generation and deal closure.
- Effectively communicating Picnic's value to both technical and business stakeholders.
- Collaborating with potential clients to develop business cases that facilitate deal closure.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience with Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to optimize prospecting efforts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in selling managed services.
- Familiarity with working alongside channel partners to identify and close business opportunities.
- Background in startup environments.
- Experience as a Business Development Representative (BDR).
Compensation:
OTE: $200-300k, comprising base salary and variable compensation, contingent on experience.
